The Tokyo-based leather brand FABRIK was founded by a leather craftsman and a product designer. FABRIK's products reflect their sincere attitude towards technology, materials, machines and people. Cherishing traditional craftsmanship through contemporary and timeless design is one of our mutual interests, which lead to this collaboration.
FABRIK's leather products hold each a unique concept that supports its function. Only high quality genuine leather, from Japanese tanneries is being used for their designs that carefully takes advantage of the leather's attributes. Sometimes it is the stiffness, sometimes the softness of the leather, which is being taken advantage of and processed through the experience of the craftsman.
The "personal" aging of the material, influenced by the usage and the environment brings the user and product closer together, creating a special relationship. FABRIK's leather goods are characterized by their vivid colors that change with time.

Store leather away from direct sunlight as this can cause fading

Store leather away from artificial sources of heat, e.g. radiators can cause leather to dry and crack

Should your coasters get wet, allow them to dry naturally away from sunlight and any artificial heat such as radiators

Do dry wet leather naturally, away from artificial heat

Do keep leather supple with a specialized leather conditioner every 3-6 months

Do clean spots and stains with a mixture of soap flakes and warm water

Do test any conditioners, cleaners, polishes or wax in a hidden spot beforehand

Don't get leather wet wherever possible
